Meditation: Learn, Do, Support, Repeat
Sometimes it helps to be amongst a group of people with common goals. This weekly meeting is meant to create a space for such meditative support that carries no dogma, welcomes all levels and assists with your goals. Attend the three part series and see what it is about. Consider that there are no bad meditations.
Learn (6pm to 6:30pm - Optional)
Begin with a open conversation about meditation techniques, where we will explore attendee’s needs or wisdom to cultivate focus, presence, and inner stillness. This session is perfect for those looking to gain foundational knowledge before diving into deeper practice. We encourage participants to visit noticemind.com/depth beforehand to familiarize themselves with different approaches and insights. Practicing these techniques ahead of time can enrich your experience.
Silent Meditation (6:30pm to 8:00pm)
Following the “learn,” we will transition into a 90-minute (30m/Break/60m) silent meditation session, offering a space for deep reflection and mindfulness. You can stay for just the 30 minute meditation if you so choose. Participants are invited to remain in stillness and silence, allowing thoughts to settle and awareness to expand. Feel free to bring personal items for comfort, such as a meditation cushion, blanket, or water. If you need to adjust your position, stretch, or step out, please do so mindfully and silently. Push the limits of how long you can sit as you see fit.
Support (30 min - Optional)
Conclude your experience with a peer-led discussion, where we come together to share insights, ask questions, and offer support as it pertains to meditation. This confidential and open gathering of attendees of the meditation provides an opportunity to process your meditation journey with others in a respectful and supportive environment. Participation is entirely optional—whether you choose to speak or simply listen, your presence is valued.
Repeat (Wednesdays at 6pm)
Regularly attending a group with a common goal can help you to make progress with your meditation goals, whatever those may be. You can skip the “Learn” section and jump straight into the “Do” at 6:30pm. Many participants report that sitting with others allowed them to meditate longer than they ever have before due to accountability and strong determination of the context. Consider that you define your limits and abilities.
RSVP: To ensure a smooth experience, please sign up via email in advance. If you choose not to participate in the latter activities, we ask that you part ways quietly to maintain the meditative atmosphere.
We look forward to sharing this peaceful and enriching journey with you.
